D.C United’s star, Wayne Rooney, has advised defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka to play without fear at Manchester United as he closes in on a move to Old Trafford from Crystal Palace.
The Manchester United legend wants Wan-Bissaka to enjoy the club once he finally joins Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side from Palace.
DAILY POST had reported Wednesday that Wan-Bissaka will sign a long-term contract with Man United which will see him earn £80,000 a week.
The deal is believed to be worth £50million and the 21-year-old is imminently set to undergo his medicals with Red Devils.
When asked to give a word of advice to Wan-Bissaka ahead of the player’s move, Rooney told Sky Sports:
“Enjoy it, play with no fear.
“Manchester United is a fantastic club, one of if not the best football clubs in the world. He’ll have to embrace it, embrace the culture of Manchester United and the history.
“Go and do your best. I’m sure he’ll be fine and I’m sure the coaches will be telling him all this.”
