Leicester are close to signing Turkish winger Cengiz Under from Roma on loan, with an obligation to make the deal permanent at the end of the season, according to Sky in Italy.
The 23-year-old is set to become Leicester’s second signing of the window, following the arrival of full-back Timothy Castagne from Atalanta.
The Foxes will pay a loan fee of £2.7m for Under and commit to signing him permanently for £21.9m at the end of the season.
Under is a left-footed winger who has primarily operated on the right wing for Roma since arriving from Istanbul Basaksehir in 2017.
He has scored 17 goals in 88 games for the Serie A club, who are willing to allow him to leave as he has failed to hold down a first-team place during his three years in the capital.
In addition, Leicester have not given up on signing Burnley centre-back James Tarkowski.
